Temporary addresses can’t send or reply to emails

One alias per site makes it easy to see who exposed your address.

What Tmppod can do for you

Keep sign-up emails out of your real inbox

Promotional emails can quickly fill your inbox, often starting with a single sign-up. Let an alias receive them first, then forward only the messages you want to see.

Learn about email forwarding
01

Up to 100 forwarding aliases

Sign in with your real email—no password needed—then create a separate alias for each site. Incoming messages are forwarded to your real inbox.

02

30-day email archive

Messages received through aliases are kept for 30 days. Blocked spam is listed in the archive too, so you can review each message and make sure you haven’t missed a verification code or order update.

03

Get an address instantly

No sign-up needed. A temporary address is ready as soon as you open the page. It lasts 3 hours by default and can be extended up to 24 hours.

04

Trace leaks with unique aliases

If an alias starts receiving spam, you’ll know which site exposed it. Disable that alias, and your others will keep forwarding as usual.

To be clear: what Tmppod doesn’t do

Temporary addresses can only receive emails

Use a temporary address to receive verification codes and notifications, but not to reply or send emails. Use your real email for conversations.

Expired addresses can’t be recovered

When a temporary address expires, it and its messages are deleted. Extend it before it expires if you still need it. The maximum lifetime is 24 hours.

Archive messages are deleted after 30 days

Forwarding alias messages stay in the archive for 30 days, then they’re permanently deleted. For long-term storage, save important emails in your real inbox.

Up to 100 aliases per account

Each account can have up to 100 aliases. Use the alias planner to estimate how many you’ll need before assigning them to different sites.

Email forwarding

Aliases receive your mail and forward it to your real inbox

Sign in with a verification code sent to your real email—no password needed. See where each alias is used and how many messages it received in the last 30 days. Disable an alias with one click if it starts getting spam.

Stop spam in three steps

Keep your real address private starting with your next sign-up

01

Sign in with your real email

Enter your usual email address and use the verification code we send to sign in. There’s no account password, and next time you can sign in with another email code.

Result: up to 100 aliases
02

Create one alias for each site

Use an alias when signing up for a store, forum, or app instead of your real email. Add a note about what it’s for, so you can identify where messages came from.

Result: incoming emails are forwarded to your real inbox
03

Disable aliases that receive spam

If an alias starts getting spam, disable it in your dashboard. New messages will no longer be forwarded, but you can still view messages from the last 30 days in the archive.

Result: spam stops at the alias

What’s the difference between a temporary address and a forwarding alias?

A temporary address is ready as soon as you open the page—no sign-up needed. It lasts 3 hours by default and can be extended up to 24 hours, making it ideal for one-time verification codes. To create a forwarding alias, sign in with your real email. Messages are forwarded to your real inbox and kept in a 30-day archive, making aliases useful for sites you use long term.

Can I reply to or send emails from a temporary address?

No. Temporary addresses are for receiving emails only. You can’t reply or send messages from them.

What happens to blocked spam?

Spam received through a forwarding alias won’t be forwarded to your real inbox, but it will appear in the 30-day archive. Open messages individually to check whether a verification code or order update was blocked by mistake.

Can I recover messages after they’ve been in the archive for more than 30 days?

No. Messages are automatically deleted from the archive after 30 days and can’t be recovered. Emails already forwarded to your real inbox are not affected.

Will disabling one alias affect my other aliases?

No. Each alias is managed separately. Disabling one stops its messages from being forwarded; your other aliases continue to work as usual.

Use an alias the next time you sign up.

Sign in with a verification code sent to your real email and create up to 100 forwarding aliases. Just need a code? Scroll up for an address that’s ready to use.
